Procedure to Update Lifetime Maps on your Device:
Follow these steps to update lifetime maps:- First download, TomTom Home or My Drive Connect in your PC depending on which program does your device use for update.
- Register your device to receive an email about the map updates.
- Connect your device with your computer.
- Sign in with your TomTom account. Your device would either had a code for lifetime maps or had a lifetime maps icon on packaging.
- In your PC, after signing in, click on Tools and select ‘Use Latest Map Guarantee’ if you are using TomTom Home. And if you are using My Drive Connect, it will show you the new update if it is available, as soon as you connect your device with the PC.
- Now, click on ‘eject’ on your device and disconnect it from your PC.
